Atelier Alter Architects时境建筑是一家立足北京的先锋建筑事务所，2009年成立于纽约。时境两位创始人兼主持建筑师拥有哈佛、Cooper Union、清华的教育背景和国际一线事务所建筑师经验，三次受邀于清华大学、两次受邀于天津大学任教大师班。设计品类包括博物馆、体育馆、体验中心及艺术装置等；时境建筑是同时拥有建筑、室内一体化设计能力的机构。 一直保持着极高的热情探索当代建筑语言的边界，时境努力把自己放置于这样一个建筑师角色：不满于小型建筑探讨建造与空间、不固步于对中国性的讨论，通过打造更大体量和复杂性的建筑承担更大的社会责任的挑战。时境积极参加到社会变革之中，落成项目多是与文化和社区相关的公共建筑，如英良石材自然历史博物馆、五里春秋泛文化中心、北理工文体中心、英良档案馆和英良自然历史博物馆，这些项目漫长而又需要对社会分工精确掌控，其完成品质、探讨的社会价值取向、对技术的挑战和推进使得时境成为当下国际青年建筑师中不可忽视的优秀设计团队并获取了广泛社会关注和认可，如英国FX室内设计奖、英国WIN&WAN奖、美国建筑大师奖、意大利The Plan Award奖、MUSE奖、世界建筑新闻奖、法国DNA奖、荷兰Frame杂志奖、英国Dezeen奖、美国年度******奖、美国建筑师协会奖、美国纽约建筑师奖、意大利A’Award奖。目前时境正努力为独树一帜的建筑语言疆域挺进，并致力于打造国际视野下的中国建筑师形象。 时境关注并积极参与到当代艺术中，时境作品被喜马拉雅美术馆永久收藏，作品多次参加威尼斯双年展、深圳双年展、北京双年展、北京设计周、中法建筑展、韩国“ Factory as Urban ”等国内外重大建筑展览。两位合伙人被香港《透视》杂志评选为大中华区40位40岁以下的卓越年轻设计师、是德国卡赛尔艺术年展全球19家唯一中国设计团队。 Atelier Alter Architects is a pioneering architectural firm based in Beijing, founded in 2009 in New York. The two founders and lead architects of Shijian have educational backgrounds from Harvard, Cooper Union, and Tsinghua, along with experience working in top international architectural firms. They have been invited three times to teach at Tsinghua University and twice at Tianjin University for master classes. The firm’s design categories include museums, stadiums, experience centers, and art installations. Atelier Alter is an institution that possesses integrated capabilities in both architecture and interior design. Maintaining a high enthusiasm for exploring the boundaries of contemporary architectural language, Atelier Alter strives to position itself in a role that goes beyond the exploration of small-scale construction and space. They are not confined to discussions about Chinese characteristics but rather take on the challenge of assuming greater social responsibility by creating larger and more complex buildings. Actively participating in social change, Atelier Alter’s completed projects are often public buildings related to culture and community, such as the Yingliang Natural History Museum, WuliEpoch Cultural Center, BIT Sports Center, Yingliang Stone Archives, and Yingliang Stone Natural History Museum. These projects are lengthy and require precise control over social division of labor. Atelier Alter’s quality of completion, exploration of social value orientation, challenges and advancements in technology have made it an outstanding design team among current international young architects, gaining widespread social attention and recognition. Awards received include the UK FX Interior Design Award, UK WIN&WAN Award, US Architect Master Award, Italy The Plan Award, MUSE Award, World Architecture News Award, France DNA Award, Netherlands Frame Magazine Award, UK Dezeen Award, US Annual Best Award, US American Institute of Architects Award, US New York Architects Award, and Italy A’Award. Currently, Shijian is striving to advance into distinctive territories of architectural language and is committed to building the image of Chinese architects on the international stage. Atelier Alter Architects pays attention to and actively participates in contemporary art. Its works are permanently collected by the Himalayas Art Museum and have been featured in multiple editions of the Venice Biennale, Shenzhen Biennale, Beijing Biennale, Beijing Design Week, Sino-French Architectural Exhibition, and the South Korean “Factory as Urban,” among other significant architectural exhibitions both domestically and internationally. The two partners have been selected by Hong Kong’s “Perspective” magazine as among the outstanding young designers under the age of 40 in the Greater China region. They are also the only Chinese design team among the global 19 teams in the German Kassel Art Annual Exhibition.

ZHANG Yingfan RA，AIA，RIBA Yingfan Zhang, a founding partner of Atelier Alter Architects, received her Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union School of Architecture, her Master of Architecture in Urban Design form Harvard University. Prior to starting Atelier Alter Architects, She worked for Atelier Raimund Abraham and RMJM North America. Her ongoing research focuses on architecture syntax and culture context. BU Xiaojun RA, AIA / LEED AP Xiaojun Bu, a founding partner of Atelier Alter Architects, received his Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University, his Master of Architecture II from Harvard University and is a licensed architect in the State of New York. His working experience includes SOM New York, and Standard Architecture. His practice focuses upon the connection between parametric and construction.
